WE.LIFT.BIG - Behind the Podcast!

They say rock bottom is the birthplace of greatness, and I am a whole hearted believer of that! May of 2019 was a period of massive shifting for me. At that point, I had been a personal trainer for almost 16 months, I had just competed in my first bikini show, and I was addressing some major transitions in my community and in my personal life. I had played with the idea of beginning a podcast months prior, but just never pulled the trigger on it, until I knew I just couldn't put it off any longer. I had things to say!!


My first episodes for WE.LIFT.BIG were recorded on my apple earbuds on my 10 minute commute to work. I would record whenever I had the opportunity, which wasn't always much, but I was determined to post whenever I could, whenever there was something on my heart! I was in such an intense place of personal development in my life, and I wasn't going to let my thoughts about life and strength and transformation go unspoken any longer!


Many of the messages I speak about in my podcast revolve around self growth. I am looking to expand into more fitness and nutrition centered episodes, as fitness and nutrition are some of my greatest passions, and as a personal trainer, I want my clients to have a place they can go, a voice they can reference and be inspired by, when I am not directly with them!


Even with 12 months of posting content under my belt, my work is still only in its infancy! I've still got SO much growing to do! I am incredibly excited to continue to develop WE.LIFT.BIG, as well as pursue my mission to inspire people to use fitness and nutrition as a means to shape their best bodies and minds! What I'm most excited about though, is that you all get to go on this journey with me!
